Peru: PM leads Multisectoral Commission against Coronavirus meeting

The members of the High Level Multisectoral Commission against Coronavirus (COVID-19) currently meet in Lima under the leadership of Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos.

The event serves to evaluate the measures adopted within the framework of the national emergency due to COVID-19.

It takes place within the framework of a mandatory social isolation imposed to prevent the COVID-19 from further spreading in the South American country.

Initially set to last from March 16 to 30, the measure has been recently extended thru May 10.

The event is held at the Government Palace in Lima.

Thursday marks the forty-sixth day of mandatory social isolation.
